Beijing Worker's Gymnasium is a dome-shape building with the seating capacity of 13,000 in four sections, established in Feb. 1961. Altogether 36 rows of seats are dicided into three levels for all spectators to have nice views over the court. The dome-shape of the building can create fine audio effect in the gymnasiun. The lighting system is adjustable and the suspension structure makes it easy to perform different satge designs. Up to 3.5 tons od lghting and audio equipment can be hanged to the suspension structure, which is especially suitable for large-scale shows. The center court, as well as the training courts in the gymnasium can provide the venues for such competition as basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badmintion, hand ball, indoor soccer and other exercises. It can also be used as a suitable venue for all kinds of exhibitions.
